Frances Janet Diaz, a treasured teacher, devoted pastor, and beloved member of her community, passed from this life into the arms of her Savior on April 4, 2024, at the age of 62. Frances was born on December 14, 1961, in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico and spent her final years in Kissimmee, Florida, where her remarkable spirit and enduring faith left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know her.
Before her ministry, Frances enlightened young minds for ten years as a preschool and elementary school teacher, a role she embraced with the same love and fervor that would later define her tenure in pastoral care. For seventeen years, she guided her congregation at Iglesia Libres Por La Verdad Church, instilling hope, inspiring peace, and nurturing faith with a grace that echoed the divine.
Frances's unfaltering faith was evident to all through her service and worship at Iglesia de Cristo Libres Por La Verdad. Reading and gardening provided her with quiet solace, and these hobbies reflected her appreciation for the simple, profound beauties of God’s creation.
She is survived by her dedicated husband, Jose Marquez, and her loving daughters, Azharea, Johannes, and Stephanie Marquez. Frances ascends to join her cherished son, Emmanuel, and her dear parents, Alejandrina and Luis Diaz, in the eternal embrace of their Creator.
Friends and family may offer their farewells to Frances during the visitation at IGLESIA CASA DE ORACION, 20151 NW 67TH AVE, MIAMI, FL 33015, on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The compassionate care of Arcelays Funeral Services of Opa-Loka, Florida, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
As the Diaz family mourns the loss of Frances Janet Diaz, they do so with the knowledge that her life was one of purpose, love, and unwavering conviction. In her memory, may we all strive to lead lives of kindness, faith, and joy. Rest in peace, good and faithful servant.
