ALBERT BROWN

A Life Well Lived

Born on October 18, 1944, in Princes Town, New Grant, Trinidad and Tobago, Albert was the beloved son of Thelma Fortune. Raised with humble beginnings, he developed a strong work ethic and an unwavering determination to succeed. Through hard work and perseverance, he built a successful career and found great joy in being able to provide his mother with everything she needed and more.

In 1968, Albert moved to Brooklyn, New York, where he embraced new opportunities and continued his trade. In 1984, he made Florida his home, carrying with him the resilience, pride, and rich heritage of his Caribbean roots.

Albert was a devoted husband to Evelyn Brown and a loving father to Arlene, Andy, Donna, and Jason. He was known for his caring nature, generous spirit, and remarkable ability to build or fix almost anything. Long before DIY became popular, his favorite saying was, "I don't have to buy that—I can build it."

He also loved to travel, exploring destinations including Alaska, Hawaii, London, Morocco, Spain, the Panama Canal, the Canary Islands, Victoria British Columbia, San Francisco, and many of the beautiful Caribbean islands. He embraced life's adventures and rarely passed up an opportunity to experience something new. He also had a vast love for all genres of music. Cycling was his passion and second love behind Evelyn and his kids.

Albert's legacy is one of love, determination, craftsmanship, and generosity. He lived life to the fullest, cherished his family, and left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
