BARRIE BRIDGET BEATTY

Obituary

Barrie Bridget Beatty was born June 20, 1983 in Toledo, OH to the late  Barrington B. Thompson & Denise E. Thompson. On January 6, 2025 she  entered peacefully into eternal rest.  

Bridget was educated in the York Pennsylvania Public School System. In  2003, she graduated from Charleston Job Corps with her GED, data entry  clerical and nursing aid certificates.  

She later moved to Miami in 2009 to be closer to her mother; every one  knows that she a mama’s girl.  

While in Miami, she was employed by several arenas as security during  their major sporting events.  

Bridget had a passion for life. She loved her family. She had a special bond  with her nieces and nephews. She made it known by all that they were her  children.  

She was preceded in death by her father Barrington Thompson, and brother  Megathon Beatty. She leaves to cherish her memory: Her loving mother  Denise Thompson; sisters, Lesley Beatty, India Thompson and Star  McGhee; Brothers; Julian Thompson-Beatty, and Marquiz Banks; three  nieces, Malayah, Meghan, and Jaelyn; six nephews; Amishadi, Matthew Jr,  Michael, Jacob, Amari and Alex Jr, her extended family in Jamaica and a  host of friends.  

Bridget has a spirit that was unmatched. She had a smile that was so bright  that it was contagious. To know her was to love her. She will truly be missed  by all.
