JEFFREY DOREUS

It's never easy to say goodbye to someone who has been a part of your life. When that person is gone, there's a hole where Jeff once occupied. That is what me and my family are feeling today, and will be feeling for a while to come. 

Some of you knew Jeff better than others, but you're here because he had an impact on your life one way or another and you honor that with your presence today. And because Jeff did affect you in some way, it's not going to be easy to say goodbye.

At such a difficult time, it's important for me to remember the good memories I have of Jeff (my headache brother) with Jeff I had the most arguments, the most laughs, and the weirdest conversations. As my little brother, when he would tell me about intimate things about him I felt like dude! why are you telling these things Jeff, and he'd say you're my sister Ka and we'd laugh and continue our conversation. He'd go on to say sis, why are you single? you're too beautiful to be single man! don't worry I'm going to find you a husband. Oh better still why don't you hook me up with one of your friends! And I'd say my friends are married Jeff, and Jeff would say so? I just want them not their husbands, the husbands and I can friends to sis. 

Jeff was always a busy body, but the one to make you laugh and cry both at the same time. I remember our first disagreement within the same minute he went get me a bottle water and I love you sis. Our relationship has come to a stop, and I pray to one day see him again
