Born in Key West, FL to Robert Franklin Riggs a veteran of the United States Navy and Mariblanca Alvarez Riggs originally from Guantanamo, Cuba, citizen of the United States and a resident of Miami, Fl.

Born with an extraordinary mind, an ordinary life was not for you and so you chased the dream of something greater and imagined yourself a captain of air and sea.  

Yes, you were rash and impulsive and there were many deep chasms that you wandered into.  With drugs and alcohol, you sought to escape the ordinary and mundane and instead found loneliness, isolation and anger.  You suffered greatly and brought great suffering to those who loved you.  

Yet, sprinkled in were glorious sunrises and peaceful sunsets, music and dancing, laughter and celebrations, the promise of love and the companionship of fellow wanderers, dreamers and lost souls.  

Now it seems God has decided your chase is ended and you no longer need to search for love.  You now fly the heavenly seas guided by the sister who went before you to be together always with your mother and father, to be at peace and suffer no more.
