Life Reflections of Keith Lee

On January 31, 1936, Keith Sanders Lee was born to the late Rev. Van and Susan Lee in Kingstree, South Carolina.

Keith was educated in the Williamsburg County School System in Kingstree.

Keith accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, was baptized and became a member of Saint Paul United Methodist Church, where he shared his gift and love for singing.

After relocating to Miami, he continued to use his gift of singing in a local quartet.

Keith met the love of his life, Joyce Bryant and was blessed to be married for 56 years. To this union, they were blessed with the birth of four beautiful daughters. Lisa proceeded him in death.

Keith became a member of Saint James A.M.E. Church under the leadership of Rev. Jimmie L. Williams.

Keith was employed at Carruth Roofing Company and later at South Florida Container and Paper Company as a warehouse manager and truck driver until his retirement.

Keith became physically unable to attend in-person worship services. However, social media allowed him to join in and enjoy the services of both Saint James A.M.E. and New Shiloh M.B. Church.

                Keith entered the presence of God on June 28, 2024. Cherishing his loving memories are his wife Joyce Lee, daughters Janetta Lee-Lewis (Nathaniel), Mamye Lee, and Susan Lee-Dukes (Olin). Grandchildren A’ntron Lee, Sheldon Glover Jr. (Alex), Ivan Reid Jr. and Isaac Reid. One great-grandson in Sheldon Glover III. Mother-in-law Mamie Bryant. Sisters-in-law Hilda Bryant, Bobbie J. Bryant, Mary J. Whitehead, Sarah J. Russell, and Willie M. Lee (South Carolina). A devoted cousin, Alex Alston (South Carolina). Keith was like a grandfather to Jawan Scott and like a father to Danish Williams, Venus Johnson, Demetria Theoc, and Jimmie Robinson. Goddaughters Erin and Janiya. A host of sorrowing nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
