Obituary
Richard W. Renka II, 60, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 20, 2022 at Claridge House in North Miami, FL. Richard spent the majority of his adulthood in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where he enjoyed the sunshine and the friendly community. He worked as a server in various restaurants.
Richard was the oldest of four children and was proud to look after his younger siblings. He graced our home with terrific music by teaching himself to play a variety of instruments, including the guitar, ukulele, and flute. Eighties music was his top favorite to listen and dance to along with family and friends. We enjoyed his passion for life and and how he shared his creativity and lots of quick wit with us all!
The son of the late Richard and Patricia (Nykl) Renka, he was born on December 1, 1961 in Nebraska.
Richard was preceded in death by his brother, Robert A. Renka, and leaves behind siblings, Rhonda M. Knight (Mahlon), Bonnie S. Gideonse; nephews, Richard M. Ohaus, Randall R. Ohaus (Brittany), Thomas A. Ohaus; great nephew, Nathan R. Ohaus and great niece, Emily M. Ohaus.
